Stony Mountain Ski Area

Located just 10 minutes north of Winnipeg, this ski hill offers six downhill runs, a terrain park, bunny hill, rental shop and lessons as well as a chalet where you can grab lunch while you watch the action.

Asessippi Ski Area & Resort 

Located about four hours northeast of Winnipeg, Asessippi offer 26 downhill runs, three lifts, a tubing park, two terrain parks and kiteboarding (from Asessippi Kiteboarding). They also have a place to grab a bite when you are taking a break from the slopes.

Holiday Mountain Resort

Located about 1.5 hours southeast of Winnipeg in La Rivière, this resort features on site chalets for an overnight stay as well as dining, several ski runs, a jump, cross country trails and a rental shop.

Springhill Winter Sports Park

Located 15 minutes from downtown Winnipeg, off Highway 59 North, this park offers skiing and snowboarding including a terrain park and mogul run. They also have ski and snowboard rentals, lessons, and a restaurant on site .

Falcon Ridge Ski Slopes

Located west of Winnipeg in Whiteshell Park, the ski area features 12 alpine ski runs, a terrain park, a tube run and Nordic ski trails. They also have a biathlon range, equipment rentals and a restaurant as well as cabin rentals nearby.

Mystery Mountain Winter Park

This Thompson park features alpine and and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and snowshoeing. It’s located 22 kilometers north of Thompson and it’s open for family fun from around mid-December until mid-April. There are two Poma lifts, a rope tow and a T-bar. At the end of the day, warm up by the wood stove or fireplace at the fully serviced chalet and lounge.
