Sadly pretty much all Canada Day celebrations have been cancelled this year due to COVID-19 restrictions on gathering sizes and social distancing recommendations. The list below from previous years is updated to show cancellations.

There are usually so many events happening to celebrate Canada’s birthday on July 1st. Here is a list of activities for Canada Day 2020 in Winnipeg & Manitoba happening in Winnipeg and Manitoba.

Elm Creek – Canada Day is celebrated with a pancake breakfast, parade, displays, children’s activities, musical entertainment, supper, dance and fireworks – 10:30 pm.
Emerson, MB – Emerson Centennial Park. Friday night street dance on the 30th of June. Canada Day celebrations on the 1st including live entertainment, children’s activities, supper ending with fireworks.
Fort la Reine, MB – Connect and celebrate with us through special events over the Canada Day weekend. Our cultural and natural heritage is at the heart of our national identity.
Holland, MB – Canada Day Celebration and Fireworks. Includes a Car Show hosted by the Red Trail CruiZer’s (11:00 am – 4:00 pm)
